Bangor Police Department Announcement: The Bangor Borough Police Department has been chosen by PennDOT to be a distribution point for the Yellow Dot Program.  This free program helps save lives by quickly providing emergency responders vital information.  According to PennDOT: “Pennsylvania’s Yellow Dot Program was created to assist citizens in the “golden hour” of emergency care following a traffic accident when they may not be able to communicate their needs themselves. Placing a yellow dot in your vehicle’s rear window alerts first responders to check your glove compartment for vital information to ensure you receive the medical attention you need.”  For more information on the program check out www.yellowdot.pa.gov or contact the Bangor Police at 610-599-3338 or the Bangor Borough Office at 610-588-2216.
