On 04/30/13 the Main Street Laundry mat at 65 N Main St, Bangor was burglarized and change from the laundry machines were stolen. Also stolen was copper fittings and piping. ♦ Bangor Police Department Announcement: The Bangor Borough Police Department has been chosen by PennDOT to be a distribution point for the Yellow Dot Program. This free program helps save lives by quickly providing emergency responders vital information. According to PennDOT: “Pennsylvania’s Yellow Dot Program was created to assist citizens in the “golden hour” of emergency care following a traffic accident when they may not be able to communicate their needs themselves.
